T H A Y N E & M A R Y A N N
Oftentimes in life, we are given obstacles. Life has a beautiful way of finding another way to remind us, that so can we. Thayne + Maryann did just that. Their original plan was to get married in Utah. With Thayne being in the Air force, traveling was not an option due to Covid travel restrictions. Their love for each other was so strong, that all that mattered at the end of the day was that they are married.
Thayne + Maryann decided to have a small intimate wedding outside their church in Minot, ND. It was a warm July day. I first met the couple at Roosevelt Park for their first look. Thayne had an expected nervousness about him. He wanted everything to be perfect for Maryann, so sweet!
Maryann arrived at the park with her mom and sister. She wore a simple elegant lace dress. Some of her long hair was down and curled, an absolute vision! Thayne wore a classic dark navy blue suit with a maroon tie, their wedding colors.
The first look was filled with so much emotions and passion. Maryann even surprised Thayne in honor of him being in the military. This couple has a young, fresh love that will warm the heart!
After the first look, we did part of their couple's session in the park. These two are so incredibly sweet! Joy just radiates off Maryann. Thayne was pure smitten the entire day. It is always so humbling to see their level of happiness and love; especially during a hard season for the world.
We made our way to the church to get ready for the ceremony. With it being just immediate family at the wedding, it was fun to see many family members watching the ceremony live; a trend that would quickly become a 2020 wedding norm!
The reception followed immediately after the ceremony. Everything was simple and so beautiful! The mood at the reception was relaxed and joyful! It was a beautiful intimate wedding for two incredibly kindhearted people.
A humble witness,
